Human Rights and Labor Standards

Ethical Standards and Responsible Business Practices

SWC is committed to responsible business practices and ethical standards in every aspect of operations. We expect all suppliers, contractors, consultants, and their partners to comply with all relevant laws and uphold our core values on human rights and labor standards.

Forced Labor, Human Trafficking, and Slavery

We strictly prohibit any form of forced labor, including prison, bonded, military, and slave labor. Our partners must ensure there is no involvement in recruitment, transport, or employment through coercion, fraud, or abuse. Retaining government-issued identification or documents as a condition of employment is forbidden, and all employees have the right to leave freely.

Child Labor

SWC does not permit the employment of underage workers. All employees must meet the minimum age required by law or by local standards, and never be younger than the age for compulsory education or fourteen years old, whichever is greater.

Working Hours

All working hours comply with local regulations, ensuring employees receive adequate rest and at least one day off per seven-day period.

Wages and Benefits

We require our partners to maintain transparent payroll systems, fairly record hours and deductions, and comply fully with wage and benefit laws for regular and overtime work.

Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining

SWC respects the rights of all employees to affiliate with lawful organizations and supports freedom of association and collective bargaining as allowed by law.

Nondiscrimination

Hiring and employment decisions are based strictly on capability and merit. We maintain workplaces free from unlawful discrimination based on race, gender, age, sexual orientation, pregnancy, caste, disability, union membership, ethnicity, religious belief, or any other protected factor. We condemn abuse and coercion in any form and uphold respect and dignity for all employees.

This policy aligns with international ethical recruitment standards and demonstrates SWC’s commitment to fair, transparent, and respectful treatment of all workers throughout the global workforce.
