Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy

Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy

SWC is fully committed to ethical business conduct and absolute compliance with anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws in every country where we operate. Our policy applies to all team members, partners, and third parties acting on our behalf worldwide, reinforcing our dedication to fair and honest business relationships built on trust, not improper practices.

Zero Tolerance for Bribery and Improper Payments

We strictly prohibit making, offering, or receiving bribes or any financial or other advantages intended to influence or reward improper activity. Bribery, whether direct or indirect, in any form, including payments, kickbacks, gifts, or rewards, is not tolerated under any circumstances. All personnel and partners are required to refuse improper payments, regardless of local business customs or competitive pressures, and report any suspicious activity immediately.

Extortion and Requests for Improper Payments

SWC will actively resist extortion and improper payment demands. In exceptional cases where personal safety is at risk, any unavoidable payments must be fully documented, reported, and audited. No employee should ever comply with improper payment requests and must report such incidents to management for investigation.

Guidelines on Gifts, Hospitality, and Entertainment

Gifts and entertainment may only be offered or accepted within normal industry customs and never to influence or appear to influence business decisions. Giving or receiving cash gifts is strictly prohibited. If a request for non-customary gifts or entertainment is received, employees must report it to their supervisor to avoid any conflict of interest or perception of favoritism.

Hospitality, including meals and events, must be reasonable, proportionate, and intended to build legitimate business relationships. Any hospitality aimed at inducing improper conduct is not permitted. All expenses must be properly documented, justified, and compliant with our standards.

Sponsored Travel and Political Contributions

SWC may sponsor travel that serves legitimate business purposes, such as contract fulfillment, regulatory research, or service demonstrations. All expenditures must be essential to business needs, justified, and pre-approved. Political contributions are never permitted without prior written approval from senior management.

Due Diligence and Business Partners

All partners and third parties are subject to careful evaluation before engagement. Agreements must include strict anti-corruption clauses and payments can only be made via traceable, legal means with full documentation. Business relationships are regularly reviewed for compliance and integrity.

Working with Government Officials

Special vigilance is required when interacting with government officials. Business activities permissible in the private sector may be restricted or illegal with public sector representatives. All ambiguities or concerns should be escalated to management.

Responsibility, Implementation, and Reporting

All SWC personnel and partners are responsible for understanding and complying with this policy. Local management ensures awareness and implementation, supported by regular audits. Any breaches or non-compliance must be reported promptly for appropriate corrective action, including possible termination and legal referral.

Record Keeping

All financial transactions and records must accurately reflect expenditures and comply with legal requirements. False or misleading records, off-the-books accounts, or undocumented payments are strictly forbidden.

Breaches and Consequences

Any violation of this policy can result in disciplinary action, termination, and legal penalties, both for personnel and business partners. SWC prioritizes transparency, ethical business, and protection against corruption and bribery at all levels.

This comprehensive policy ensures SWC maintains the highest standards of ethical conduct and compliance with international anti-corruption regulations across all global operations.
